The Local Area - Cirencester

Cirencester is a thriving market town with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

For the more energetic "Simone's", the local gym, offers daily membership. Golf, horse riding and water sports are also available locally.

Although this is a fairly rural area, the M4 and M5 motorways are quite accessible. Major rail links run regularly from stations at Kemble, Swindon and Cheltenham. The national coach service stops in Cirencester throughout the day.

The Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Southern England. The area is well known for its 'chocolate box' villages and honey-coloured stone buildings.

Cirencester is the ideal base from which to explore the many towns and picturesque villages within The Cotswolds - Cheltenham, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bibury (pictured below), Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton in Marsh to mention a few.

The Cotswold Water Park is just a few miles from Cirencester and has something for everyone including jet skiing, wind surfing, swimming, cycling, fishing and walking.
